Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Hala Canada Directory, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity on your account. One person, one account. Business accounts may only manage one business listing each.

Listings

You may only list businesses you legally own or are authorized to represent. All content must be accurate and lawful. We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms or applicable law.

Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Annual plans are non-refundable after the 14-day money-back window. You can cancel anytime via your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Acceptable use

No spam, scraping, impersonation, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content. Reviews must be from real customers reflecting genuine experiences.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant Hala Canada a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote it within the directory and across the Hala Canada media ecosystem.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hala Canada is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account anytime; we'll retain a minimum data set for legal and tax purposes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the District of Montreal.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you of material changes by email and post the updated version here.
